We are very pleased to offer for sale a pretty Hall China Chinese Red Hollywood Teapot. It is a hard to find 8 cup size. This fabulous piece is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, repairs or mold damage. The glazing is awesome. Our Hollywood teapot has a sprayed on grainy finish which is nice and even (not often found with this type of procedure). Sprayed on glazes tend to have what I would call a matte finish. This one has a high sheen but it is not as shiney as a piece that has been dipped before it was fired. When these finishes were applied correctly it is one of the prettiest Chinese Red glazes found. This is one of the nicest Chinese Red matte finishes that I have ever seen. This piece is marked "Hall F 344 8 Cup Made in U.S.A." on the base of the teapot (see our photo below). This awesome piece was made sometime in the late 30s to early 1940s.
