This is a signed marine oil painting by well listed German artist Richard von Poschinger (1839-1915). It measures 23-3/4" x 35" and housed in a period carved, lightly gilded 2-3/4" frame. The painting is in good antique condition but does need to be cleaned. There is a strange spot between the masts on the larger boat, which does not look like infill when blacklit. His larger works have sold for $5000-$7000.
