A greenstone Mezczla mask somewhat larger than usual. The mask is of abstract form with sharply delineated features. Circa 300-100 BC H. 7inches, W. 3inches. Formerly in the H. D. Gibbs Collection. Harold Gibbs 1895-1962 was an avid collector, in addition to coins he collected odd and curious means of exchange. His collections were sold by Hans Schulman in four auctions from 1951 to 1971.
