LARGE RED FIGURE BAIL-AMPHORA, 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Beautiful large campanian red figure bail-amphora by the Ixion Group Painter decorated on side A with a rider on a white horse, and on side B with a woman holding a skyphos and an oenochoe.
The neck of the vase is ornate with a feminin profile facing left on side A and on the other with a large palmette.

Former marquis de Gibot collection, 19th century, France.

Greek art, 4th century B.C.

Comes with a TL test.
Height : 15 inches (38 cm)
