A very rare 18th century antique Chinese small cloisonne enamel vase, the slightly compressed bulbous vase with long cylindrical neck rising to a gently everted rim, decorated allover with leafy scrolls against a blue ground, the top rim with a band of 'ruyi' pattern, shoulder decorated with a band of stiff-leaves above a further band of 'ruyi', interior and base enameled blue with a squared mark in gilt-wires reserved on red ground. NOTE : It is very rare to find a 'Hall' mark in 18th century Chinese cloisonne vessels, and the present mark does not appeared to be recorded.
DATE : Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 18th Century, Qianlong period (1736 - 1795).
MARK : squared mark "De Zhen Zhan Quan Zhu Yen Jin Zhan", loosely translated as "For the Great Appreciation of the Master of the De Zhen Zhan Quan" in gilt-wires on base.
SIZE : approximately 4 1/4" (11 cm) high.
CONDITION : minor pitting, small areas of enamel loss to inside & outside foot rim, see last image. No other damages or repairs.
