This is a printed book of Noh costumes and accessories used on stage by Taro Fukami dated Showa 8 ( 1933). It begins with his preface and has colored illustrated 60 pages. There are some patina and slight stains, but all pictures are in good condition. This is a wooden Nure- gaku (Ita- gaku) , nure means wet, ita means wood, gaku means frame , and they are signs typically hung from the eaves outside tea houses ,this one is from 1930s. It has 2 kanji characters “ Cha In “ written in the cursive style, simply means steam from tea. Because Nure gaku is usually hung outside, wooden piece is required to be resistant from weathering, this wood was taken from an old waterwheel. This is a Japanese wooden lacquer Jubako box dated late 1800s to early 1900s.
It comes in an original wooden case and has 2 opening in the front and back. Opening the front cover, it has multi-sectional containers stored and the back of the case has a container for water. It is called Hyakuman pen ( Hyakuman ben) dated probably around 1930s , literally it means "One million times " referring to a metaphorically large number of times to pass the prayer beads around. This is powerfully effective ritual that helps people heal through cooperating with others.

This is a large Bira Bira Kanzashi, a dangling hair ornament dated from the 1920's . They were typically worn as an adornment by maiko. They are decorated with the most auspicious motif of Japan , Sho- chiku - bai which are Japanese pine, bamboo, plum blossom and flying crane on top which indicates that this kanzashi is used for the new year and that is usually associated with celebrations .
