Masterfully carved with expressive eyes and smile, this mask appears to be signed by the carver on the back and is in excellent condition with only a bit of wear and some discoloration to the white lacquer due to age. The mask measures 8 1/2 inches from forehead to chin and is almost 5 1/2 inches wide. More photos are available by request. Late 19th early 20th century.
