| Report on the Excavation of Two Southern Tang Mausoleums. Published in 1957 in Beijing. The two mausoleums are: Mausoleum of Li Pein, founder and first ruler of the Southern Tang state; and Mausoleum of his son Li Ying at Kao-shan Mountain, Kiangsu Province. This extremely rare book ( most were burned during the Cultural Revolution ) consists of 103 pages of text, all in Chinese, and 144 pages of photographs and illustrations, including 2 foldout maps and two foldout illustrations of rubbings. Also included is a 22 page summary in English. You will not find this book, in comparable condition, listed anywhere for less than $350.00 The book comes with the original cardboard box.
