This outstanding side cabinet / credenza features a wonderful bronze plaque representing Hercules subduing the Cerberus. Made in solid walnut, the cabinet features wonderful burled panels, ebonized and gilt highlights. There are carved capitals with rosettes on the front face, as well as a beautiful brass drawer pull displaying an Ansonia head. The inside has one side to side shelf. This piece is truly a tour-de-force of the Victorian cabinetmakers art.
