| A wooden statue of a sitting figure, most likely originating from a shaman's temple. Western Nepal, Jajarkot-Jumla region. The patina indicates the statue has been kept inside, or at least in a sheltered place, though the wear under the base shows it has been standing on a moist surface, possibly stone. I estimate the age to be mid 20th century. Good patina and excellent signs of wear and age. There's a crack at the back of the head that has (unnecessarily) been filled.
