| A so called "mandau" from the Dayak people on Borneo island, probably the Kenyah tribe. Iron blade with engraving and brass inlay. Wooden grip with tufts of hair. The scabbard is damaged and incomplete; there's no plaited belt, no side-knive and part of the rattan weaving is lacking. This sword was collected in the 1930's by a Dutch missionary. Length 70,5cm.
