| An early pair of yokeback side chairs, Kangxi period, ca. 1700. Elmwood with thick black lacquer. Good original condition, not re-lacquered, no modern varnish. Sturdy construction. Wear to the lacquer, especially at the backrest where it is flaking off. The moldures are quite typical for the period. WxDxH 48x38x117cm. | ||||||||||||||
