| A shaman's outfit from Nepal's far Western region. It probably belonged to a shaman from the Magar people. It consists of a kind o harness with bronze bells and iron bells and dishes. The horizontal belt is worn around the hip; the two upgoing belts are going over the shoulder and are fastened to the horizontal belt to keep that one in place. This harness comes together with the shaman's drum and drumstick. Condition: obvious signs of use and wear. One end of the horizontal belt has been repaired one time with coarse canvas. Mid 20th century or before. Dim.: WxH 70x110cm. It is mounted on a multiplex background (81x117cm) but will be shipped without it. | |||||||||||||||
