A beautifully proportioned armchair by the architect Richard Riemerschmid. Model (91)7. Manufactured by the Dresdner Werkstätten fur Handwerkskunst, Dresden-Hellerau 1905. New leather cushioned seat (with brass nailheads) on tapered legs, cut-out heart shape in rear backrest. 35.5"ht. x 24.5"w. x 20.75"d. Stained oak.

An important Tea Glass Holder designed by Hugo Leven (Dusseldorf 1874-1956 Bad Soden-Salmunster) for Kayserzinn. Characteristic impressed "thumbprints" form the design motif of this exceptional pewter object. 2.5" ht. w/o glass, which is probably from a later date. Marked 'Kayserzinn 4819' in oval. Excellent polished condition. Two matching sets of two each are available.
