An important Tea Glass Holder designed by Hugo Leven (Dusseldorf 1874-1956 Bad Soden-Salmunster) for Kayserzinn. Characteristic impressed "thumbprints" form the design motif of this exceptional pewter object. 2.5" ht. w/o glass, which is probably from a later date. Marked 'Kayserzinn 4819' in oval. Excellent polished condition. Two matching sets of two each are available.

Patinated bronze oval form, within the upper relief a regular succession of celtic motifs and wave band pattern, a center design of a beetle, whose feeler forms a framed pointed oval. 7.25 inches ht. Signed. Very fine.
