This is a large group of 130 MOVIE STAR premiums that were issued in Germany by Reemtsma Zigaretten in 1935. They are from the set of premiums entitled "Vom Werden deutscher Filmkunst - Der stumme Film" (German Film Art - The Silent Film).
The front of each premium shows a beautiful black and white photograph of a scene from a Silent Film, while the back of each premium has the title, set name, card number and trade text all written in German. They were given out free with packages of Reemtsma cigarettes. The premiums in the complete set came in two different sizes, those being approx. 3.25" x 4.75" and 4.75" x 6.75" inches. |
