| Absolutely beautiful petite, antique bronze French WALL frame with French ribbon, rosette and leaf ornamentation on top of frame. Frame contains a charming sepia type picture of a smiling, cherubic-looking child wearing a necklace and ruffled dress over one shoulder, sitting on a rumpled blanket in a rattan child’s outdoor chair. The attached backing on the back of the picture reads “Photographie Artistique Chamberlin – Paris”. In researching this marking, I found that this photographer was active in Paris around 1870 – 1875. The frame has a lovely finish and is in excellent condition. Frame has not been cleaned. Purchased in Nice, France. Approximate Measurements: Glass size: 2 3/4” Height X 2” Width; Overall Frame size: 4” Height X 2 5/8” Width. | ||
