Charming study of a house and landscape. Purchased in Belgium. Oil on Linen. Circa very late 1800's. Delicate condition as it's starting to crackle a bit and the canvas is not totally taunt on the stretchers. But the simplistic, calming nature of the painting is what catches you heart. Measures: 18" x 13 7/8".

One of two incredible paintings by the same artist that I had the fortune to find from an art dealer in Paris. River Reflections #2. It was very hard not to keep these for myself. So scenes are so relaxing, the blue/green colors inviting! Obviously, a very talented artist. Oil on artist paste board. This one measures 12 5/8" x 11 3/8".
