A Stunning Gray Winter Scene from Russian artist Yuri Bolotov. Painted oil on artist board Feb. 2002. Signed on reverse (see enlargement). Very Gray tones with browns, blues, and greens. Yuri Ivanovich Bolotov, born in the small village of Kursk Region, Russia in 1957. Attended the Art College of Buturlenovka and reseved his degree from the Art College of Kursk. Known for his looseness of form but a clarity in his colors, his paintings bring to mind many of the Russian composers of the 19th century. These 3 paintings are just a small collection I was recently able to purchase. A wonderful addition to your art collection. Measurements of painting: 12 1/2" x 8 3/8".
