These are exceptional! A Beautiful pair of French Baroque Brass and Gold Wash Fire Dogs. These were purchased on a recent European buying trip. Meant to be used as decorations for the fireplace. However, I can see them as the ultimate doorstop, made into a pair of lamps, or just as a decorative piece on a table top. They are in very good condition. Circa 1870. Each "Dog" is approx. 11" high x 9,1/2" long. |
