This dainty bracelet was published on page 17 of Jerry & Lois Jacka's book " Art of the Hopi ". It dates from teh 1930's and is typical of the Fred Harvey style of Native American silver from that time period. Set with a nice hand cut and polished turquoise stone, it is approximately 1/2" wide and has an inside circumference of about 5 1/4" PLUS a 1 1/8" gap, and can be easily adjusted. These are a super collector's item. Delmar Lamson only made jewelry for 4 years, he was trained at the Guild and started working in 1985. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1988, so his work is very hard to find. These wonderful butterfly earrings are made of sterling and signed with his hallmark and the guild mark, they also come with the original Hopi Arts and Crafts - Silvercraft Guild display card. about 3/4" diameter, clip on, excellent vintage condition.

This is a nice simple pin with a very fine piece of " water web " turquoise, the pictures do not show how nice the stone is. About 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" with a twisted wire border and 4 silver rain drops. Excellent vintage condition, no cracks or chips to stone, signed with Mark Chee's bird hallmark. A fine collector's piece. Most likely dates form the 1950's or 1960's.

Beautiful overlay pin depicting a roadrunner one of Mr Yazzie's signature designs. About 1 1/4" in diameter, marked with dipper hallmark, most likely dates form the 1960's or 50's. Excellent vintage condition. While overlay work was first attributed to Hopi smiths, Willie Yazzie Sr. began doing it very early also in the 1950's, and is well known for his high quality work. PS. Most likely dating form the 1960's or so this nice pair of earrings is silver channel inlaid with nice sleeping beauty mine turquoise. They are about 2" long and 3/4" wide and in excellent vintage condition. Very well executed. Hallmarked.

George and his brother Allan worked with their cousin Kenneth Begay at the White Hogan shop for many years, they made similar jewelry. He worked until his untimely death in 1980. This fine modernist necklace is marked on the back " GK & the white hogan mark & sterling hand made ". The pendant part is 4 1/2" by 3" the chain is a bit short, but could easily be added to. Excellent vintage condition.

These are rare in that they are signed by the artist. Ellen Quandelacy was perhaps more famous for her fetishes, but she also made beautiful jewelry. She began making jewelry in the 1940's and passed away in 2002. These earrings are very fine and well executed with high grade sleeping beauty turquoise and silver. 1 5/8" long by about 1/2" wide marked EQ, excellent vintage condition.

Gary and Elsie Yoyokie began working in about 1969 and worked at Hopicraft they are from the spider clan of the Hopi nation. This ring is from the early period and depicts a mudhead kachina dancing. 2" long by about 3/4" wide and just under size 9 excellent vintage condition and hallmarked.

This is a classic work by the famous Dan Simplicio, he was once of C. G. Wallace's favorite smiths. The pin is 2 1/4" by 1 1/4" and is set with four natural very nice turquoise stones ( probably morenci mine ) and a beautiful piece of red branch coral in hand cast and fabricated silver ( no factory settings here ! ). Also is a pendant. weighs 24 grams and is in excellent vintage condition.

Elliot Qualo was the son of Myra Qualo, and began making jewelry in the 1960's he has recently passed away. This bracelet is made from entirely had cast and hand fabricated silver, indicating early work from before 1980. The piece depicts an Apache spirit dancer on a tortoise shell background, other materials are turquoise, coral, and shell.
