| This item was collected in the field in the 1970's by an Australian patrol officer. It shows considerable age, so it was well used before being collected. Note the insect damage on the front, still has some remains of pigment. Very large and heavy, about 43" tall. Iatmul people, middle Sepik river Papua New Guinea. Great tribal item. | ||
