Rare kyathos of bellied body showing a small handle with applied horns on top. The flat base with a gouged cross. Most likely the toy of a child and belonging to the Ansone Culture which was located in Campania and formed part of the Villanova culture. Rare Etruscan kyathos with shallow bowl and tall vertical handle in the shape of a stylized animal head with pronounced horns. The flat base shows an impressed cross and dots. Kyathoi were used for drinking wine at symposia held by the Etruscan elite. Attic ribbed mug with straight, slightly tapering wall. A loop handle set vertically just below the rim. Covered with black glaze except for a small area on the bottom and the ring foot. Provably inspired by mugs made in metal. Ceramic. Athens, ca. 400 BC H. 7.4 cm (2.9 in), D. rim 7.8 cm (3.1 in), W. over handle 10.4 cm (4.1 in) Broken and reconstituted from fragments. Good quality and condition. Black glaze slightly mottled. Careful setting of the horizontal ribs. English art market.

Thin walled ribbed skyphos of rounded body. Below the rim white blobs flanking a line. One side with a wheel motif at center, the applied white color shaded gold. Red lines at the join to the ribbed body. The low stemmed foot with two stepped splayed base. The inside of the foot and the reserved area to the beaker covered all over with a dense red wash. Cream clay shallow bowl with a flared rim enhanced with burgundy red and with two lugs for suspension. The high stemmed foot with a central molding, standing on a flat stepped base. Decorated with bands, brown-glazed and reserved areas. The vessel was buried close to an iron artifact which left remains of rust all over the foot.
