Attic ribbed mug with straight, slightly tapering wall. A loop handle set vertically just below the rim. Covered with black glaze except for a small area on the bottom and the ring foot. Provably inspired by mugs made in metal.
Ceramic.

H. 7.4 cm (2.9 in), D. rim 7.8 cm (3.1 in), W. over handle 10.4 cm (4.1 in)
Broken and reconstituted from fragments. Good quality and condition. Black glaze slightly mottled. Careful setting of the horizontal ribs.
