Figural bronze handle in the shape of two stylized dolphins meeting at a central knob. The dolphins show vestigial fins on the sides and swung fin tails of almost floral shape. The handle was attached to a wooden box. Hammered bronze wires clasp the handle. They were inserted trough the wooden board and bent behind. Mainz 2003. Bronze. Etruscan, late 6th-4th century BC. H. 3.4 cm (1.3 in), D. 3.2 cm (1.25 in), W. over spikes 4.6 cm (1.8 in). Intact, except for few broken spikes. Good quality and condition. Reddish patina and soil deposits. Swiss art market.

Herakles standing in an appealing contrapost with his weight on the right leg. The hero is naked except for a lion skin covering his head, the shoulders and wrapped around the left forearm. Attic ribbed mug with straight, slightly tapering wall. A loop handle set vertically just below the rim. Covered with black glaze except for a small area on the bottom and the ring foot. Provably inspired by mugs made in metal. Ceramic. Athens, ca. 400 BC H. 7.4 cm (2.9 in), D. rim 7.8 cm (3.1 in), W. over handle 10.4 cm (4.1 in) Broken and reconstituted from fragments. Good quality and condition. Black glaze slightly mottled. Careful setting of the horizontal ribs. English art market.

A braided sidelock with spiral curl falling onto the shoulder. Bronze. Egyptian, Late Period, 712-33 BC. H. 9.8 cm (3.85 in), H. with stand 11.1 cm (4.4 in). Intact, cursorily rendered.
