Etrusco-Corinthian Pointed Aryballos, 600-550 BC
Whitish Etrusco-Corinthian aryballos decorated with fine stripes and bands, some of them interconnected with diagonal lines. Tiny strokes on the outside of the discoid rim. Tongue pattern on the shoulder. A stripped handle from shoulder to rim. The base with a small cavity below. Ceramic. Etruscan, 600-550 BC. H. 10.3 cm (4.05 in). Missing shard on the disk rim restored. Otherwise intact and of good condition. Surface and glaze with some wear. Swiss private collection (data will be provided to the buyer).
