Lekythos of rounded body covered all over with brilliant black glaze. Just below the shoulder a reserved band with a running-dog pattern inside. For the shape and its development cf. items 1123-1128 in: B. Sparkes, L. Talcott. The Athenian Agora, Black and Plain Pottery. Princeton 1970. Ceramic. Attic or Atticizing South Italian, 420-400 BC.
