This is a wonderful little antique unmarked French Majolica piece in mint condition. I guess that this would be a small planter or tureen. It does not appear to have had a lid. The colors are nice along with the ornate details and good handles. It measures 7 1/4" from handle to handle. It stands 4 1/4" tall and is 3" deep.

This an interesting period Art Nouveau Majolica glazed pottery vase. The color, design, craftsmanship and patina are great and is definitely in the Majolica family. The rounded and twisted handles gives this piece its look. This unusual vase measures 8” tall and has a maximum diameter of 6 ¾” and has a 3 ½” diameter base. Great looking with your Majolica Collection.

This is a great looking French Majolica plate that features two cute little children riding the see-saw. The color and patina are wonderful. This green bordered piece is in very good condition for being over 100 years old. There is normal wear and the crazing that can be seen in the images. We have another one like it in stock and one similar piece currently with a blue border. It is a fine piece that measures almost 8”.

This an interesting period Art Nouveau tin or lead glazed pottery pair of vases. I have heard this type of work is called “Flemish Art Pottery.” The color, design, craftsmanship and patina are great and is definitely in the Majolica family. The rounded square shape give these pieces their look. They measures 12” tall and has a maximum diameter of 4 ½”. Wouldn’t they make an impressive pair of lamps?

Black and white is the best selling transferware color right now. This plate depicts the Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus with the reference La Sainte Famille * De Heilige Famille. It measures almost 9 ½”. It is marked ANCIENNE MANUFACTURE, Imperiale & Royale, Sujet Religieux, MOUZIN LECAT & Ce, L.Nimy N. This plate dates from the mid 1800’s and is in excellent condition with no chips, repairs, hairlines or crazing. I also have 5 soup bowls from this same set.

If only this had not been dinged. This is a great looking French Majolica plate that features someone riding a bicycle. The color and patina are wonderful. It has been damaged and not-so-well “repaired”, but it still is a fine piece that measures almost 8”.

This large 10” bowl is unmarked, but this pattern is attributed to Etruscan (Griffin, Smith and Hill). It is near perfect condition with no cracks or repairs. It has typical wear, but retains its original glossy patina. The colors are bold and beautiful. This size bowl is one of the tougher pieces to find in this pattern. Also, the bowl is 2” deep.
