A Byzantine bronze bell discovered in Israel and dated ca. 500 AD, the Early Byzantine Period. The bell measures 2.2 cm and a dark green patina covers the item. There is also a dirt encrustation and the clapper is missing. There is a small hole in the body and shipping is free. This bell is in very fine condition.

A beautiful lot of five Byzantine cup coins excavated in one of the Balkan States and dated ca. 1050 AD, the reign of Constantine IX, in the Byzantine Empire. The coins are in exceptionally good condition with the stampings clearly visible.

A large and spectacular Byzantine stone (limestone?) bread stamp measuring 5.4 cm in height, 4.9 cm wide and 1.8 cm thick. The seal is dated ca. 5th century AD, and the mount for suspension on the reverse is broken from the seal. We believe this was done while the drill-hole was being made. A nice and different Byzantine terracotta oil lamp discovered in the Levant and dated to the Early Christian Period, ca. 4th century AD. The lamp was made from gray clay and has a red slip, most of which is still visible. We believe this lamp was made by an apprentice. There is a tongue handle and a flat, tear-drop base. The lamp measures 10.3 cm and is covered with a heavy earth encrustation. The clay is a rich orange color and shipping is free.
