GLASS PASTE BEAD NECKLACE ca. 250 AD - FREE SHIPPING
Roman glass paste bead necklace discovered at the site of an ancient Roman settlement in eastern Europe and dated ca. 3rd century AD, the period of Roman occupation. The approximately 185 beads have been restrung on a monofilament line and measure 22.5 cm in total length. The beads are various colors ranging from white to black and shipping is free. Some of the beads have a very nice iridescence.

Although the different lands under the rule of Rome were as diverse as Britain and Egypt and Syria and Germany, items such as jewelry from a particular area could be found in other remote zones of the Empire. These beads were discovered in eastern Europe but were possibly created in western Asia.
