Each leg is a massive, solid piece of Egyptian architecture measuring 21" in height, in addition to the custom mount for the pair. Each leg is brightly painted with a yellow ochre background with designs in red and black. These nicely designed cartonnage pieces once adorned the soles of the mummy's feet and formed the base of shoes that would be worn in the afterlife. This particular pair features colors of blue and yellow and remain in excellent condition with some loss to the upper-right corner on one piece.
