This rare juglet type is typical of the form that was popular in Judea during the Iron Age II Period (circa 1000 - 586 B.C.). Nice design and beautiful coloring. This jug measures 3.5" tall. For comparable, see Ruth Amiran "Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land", (#262-264). Condition: Pristine, choice and intact with good adhesions and evidence of age remaining. Item comes with a display stand for mounting. Provenance provided to purchaser.

For your consideration is this nice, Holyland pottery juglet. Originally used as a dipper or juglet. This piece dates from the time of David, Iron Age II (circa 930-586 BC), First Temple Period. Measures: Height: 4.5" Condition: Good. Handle reattached, but else nice. Mounting stand is included with this piece. Provenance provided to purchaser.

For your consideration is this lovely, Judean pottery pyxis. Has a squat, cylindrical neck, raised and pierced lug handles and a slightly flaring mouth. Dates to the 4th or 5th Century A.D. Measures: 4" tall and 5" wide. Condition: Restored from sherds, but complete and nice. Provenance provided to purchaser.

This rarest of juglet type is of the form that was popular in Judea during the Iron Age II Period (circa 1000 - 586 B.C.).
