| Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this superb ancient Egyptian ushabti with a vertical box of glyphs running down the center. This example is intact with a tremendous bright ancient blue faience glaze remaining. The glyphs on the front are in the vertical style and have not yet been translated. This style was very popular during this period. The back pillar also dates this ushabti to the 26th Dynasty (664 - 525 B.C.). A wonderful large piece that measures 4 3/8" in height and makes an impressive display. The piece is in excellent condition with only professional restoration at the mid-section. | ||
