| Relics of the Nile is very pleased to present this superb rare ancient Egyptian necklace composed of New Kingdom faience disc and tubular beads. Attached to the necklace is an outstanding New Kingdom faience Ushabti head. The facial features on this ushabti are brilliant and the colors are even better. Vibrant colors of blue and black, cover the piece. The facial features are superb as well, with the Nemes headcloth painted in black. The length of the necklace measures a very nice 24" in length. The ushabti head measures 1" in height. The beads have been restrung and fitted with a modern clasp to make it completely wearable if desired! The piece dates from the New Kingdom (1,550 - 1,070 B.C.). A nice addition to any Egyptian collection. | ||
