| Relics of the Nile is very pleased to present this rare Greek bronze tre-foil lip Oinochoe. This votive example measures a splendid 1.75" in height. This container is a smaller version of the large Greek tre-foil Oinochoe. The rarest aspect of this piece is that it is bronze. Most examples are pottery, making this a nice addition to any ancient Greek artifact collection. The handle of the pitcher has been lost to antiquity, but the piece is covered in a lovely olive patina. This artifact was used either as a representation, or to store unguents similar to the function of a Greek Lekythos. A very rare and attractive piece. Greek, 3rd Century B.C. | ||
