The size of Suzuribako: 8 1/2" Long x 5 1/8" Wide x 1 1/2" High. Beautiful Japanese Makie, Lacquer Suzuribako. Suzuribako is made with Makie finish called, "Tamenuri" which has reddish lacquer finish in middle urushi(lacquer) finish, then top coating Urushi with translucent finish which give half translucent effect.
