The size of Tokkuri: 5 1/4" High x 3 1/2" Dia. It is very rare Japanese Kyoto Awata-Yaki Tokkuri by Iwakuraya. Each tokkuri was made by very fine Awata area clay and very finely(thinnly) made. The design is from Korai(Korean). The condition of each tokkuri excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The size of Chawan: 5 1/8" L x 4 5/8" W x 3 7/8" H. The most unusual Japanese Chawan, Tea Bowl ever seen. The chawan was made by Nezumi Shino. One of Shino Yaki. Nezumi which is grey color so this is called Nezumi Shino. The design of cross and other design are done with Oniban glazed and removed design area, later it glazed with feldspar which leave the white design area line inlaid. The size of Covered Bowl: 5" Dia x 3 3/4" High. Fine Kyoto Satsuma Covered Bowl by Taizan. The covered bowl is made by Kyoto Satsuma, actually, Awata Yaki which is origin of Kyoto Satsuma in Kyoto. Awata Yaki was started by first Taizan (Takahashi Tokuro) in 1680 early Edo period. This covered bowl was made by Taizan in late Edo. There is deep green at the lower edge area. The rim has brown(beni) finish. Each plate has inside Kodai(foot rim) area with glazing where showing.
