The size of pipe case: 8 1/2" Long, Pipe: 7 7/8" Long, Tabacco Pouch: 5" L x 2 7/8" W x 3/4" Thick. Ojime: 3/4" Dia. Very nice Japanese Tabacco Ire complete set. Kireru Zutsu is made with nice lacquer finish work. Ojime made by Bekko(turtoise shell). Tabacco ire pouch with fin leather with clasp made with fine Kinko(metal) work in the design of persimmon done with gold inlaid. Persimmon is by copper and leaf maybe shakudo. The pipe has hexagonal shape design with bamboo center. The pipe case appear as silver but since it does not bear silver marking, I priced accordingly. The condition of whole set excellent, except ojime ball has some chips. Pipe case has little age worn on the end as photo. Clasp work fine. It is nice Tabacco Ire set from Meiji period. Estimated $650.00-$700.00. Please pay actual shipping/insurance cost. |
