Handsome Japanese Silver Box & Kashi-Fork Set
The size of Fan Box: 4 7/16" L x 1" W x 5/16" H.
The size of Silver Stick: 4 3/16" L x 5/16" W.
Beautiful Japanese Silver Fan Yoji Box and set of 6 pcs, Kashi-Yoji. The kashi-yoji, used instead of a fork for eating Japanese sweets. They are all made by Silver. Each piece has marked "Gin-sei"(silver made). The fan box has Sho-Chiku-Bai(Pine, Bamboo and Plum) designs carved and each has gold works. The stripes on fan design also with gold work. The Kaji-Yoji which are used for eating Japanese Sweet(confectionary). Much wider and more like knife. Kashi-Yoji has also with fan shape design beautifully done with gold and silver frosted finish. It came with store box. The inside cover marked Kotobuki which was wedding gift. The condition of set excellent. Dating from 1940-1960s.
