| The size of Kensui: 5 1/4" Dia x 2 5/8" High. Japanese Kensui Bowl. Kensui is made from fine crackle glazing Kyoto Satsuma Body. It has nice shape and easy to use. There are two group of mon design done in red, green and lavender color enamel work with gold beautifully painted at front. The back side has only one group. It is well made with very rounded shape. It is marked with the artist name as last photo show. it looks like "Genpei". The condition of Kensui Bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline other than fine crackle crazing. Bowl sit well. There is some used spots at lower area. Dating from late Meiji to Taisho 1900-1920. | ||||||||||||||
