| The Size: 12 1/4" High x 5" Dia Body, 5 1/2" Top. It is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Vase with flare top. The workmenship is wonderful. It has Musha (Samurai figure) with window on each side of vase. The vase is like a Satsuma body with crackle glazing. The between the window design, there are peony and pheasant design wonderfuly detail work. The top vase has peony design. The condition of vase good except top has been restored with heavy brass clamp. One corner has chip. Main body has no crack and chip. It make fine decorative piece. Dating from late Edo, 1800-1850. | |||||||||||||||
