| The size of Plate: 8 1/4" Dia x 1 1/8" High. Very lovely Japanese Ko Imari Sometsuke Porcelain Plate. The plate is made by fine quality(finely made with thinner body) porcelain as well as fine glazing. It has unusual Bokashi(gradation9 finish. There are three windows of Sho Chiku Bai design and other three windows with Peony flower in Bokashi(gradation) finish. The center with Goben bana design(five flower petal). The edge of plate with Beni(oxidized) finish. It has very good Uzufuku(swirling fuku) marking. The condition of plate is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There is little wear spots on surface. The spots at a couple area on the rim edge are missed oxidation finish, and not chipped from original. It is very nice plate.
