| The size of Charger: 12" Dia x 2" High. Japanese Ko Imari Sometsuke Porcelain Charger. The charger has extraordinary workmenship. It is made with very fine quality porcelain as well as fine glazing. It has 1 1/2" inside side wall. It has wonderful detail of design in four different windows the center with blank square space which look like coin design. One water birds, one window with crane, two boats and plum tree. Plum tree has fine geometric design done. Crane (or egret) background with swirling design. The rim wall area with flower, berry and karakusa design. The color of gosu blue and thick glazing are woderfully harmonized. Outside has Karakusa design. It has marking of Tai Min Seika Nensei. The condition of charger is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The charger sit well. None scratch on surface. The last photo showing three veri minor kiln spots which has completly glazed. It is due to Kamahi(original kiln spots) because of the size charger and shape. The charger sit well. Dating from Edo Chuki(middle Edo), from early 18th century to around mid 18th century.
