| The size of Charger: 12 1/4" Dia x 2 3/8" High. Japanese Ko Imari Sometsuke Porcelain Charger Bowl. The charger bowl has very distinguished design and workmenship. It has very unique design. The body made with finely thickness. The center bowl with flower design. There are three windows painted with plum and bamboo. Between those window, there are snow rings design with shiranuki finish. Every part of charger bowl has excellent workmenship. The condition of charger bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline except noting the backside center of bowl will some wobbles when set on the flat. This is due to the spurs bump stick out little. If you put four felt tip on the foot rim which should stop woblbing. No problem to display on the stand for this fine art work and master piece of Ko Imari. One little original kiln spot with minor indentation. The surface of charger is well kept, very little wear. It is marked Tai Min Seika Nensei. Dating from Edo Chuki(middle Edo), 1700-1740. | |||||||||||||||
