| The size of Bowl: 6 3/4" Dia x 2 1/4". Japanese Ko Imari Blue and White Porcelain Bowl. The bowl was made solidly and very steady with good fine glazing. The center bowl has Hana-Mon(flower mon) design. The side wall has the dedisng of Momo(peach) Karakusa(Chinese grass) design. Peach is lucky symbol. Outside has Karakusa design. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline, as well as almost none scratch. Little glaze repelled on spot on edge. The side wall peach design has little blurred due to the thick glazing on the side wall which created this effect in kiln, some time you see with thick glazing. Nice gosu blue. Good glazing touch feeling. Bowl set well and well balanced. It is simple yet has noticeable bowl because little larger size than regular Namasu bowl. Dating from 1840-50 mid 19c.
