The size of each Bowl: 5 5/8" Long x 4 11/16" Wide x 1 3/4" High. Beautiful and refine quality Japanese Kyo Yaki Bowl set of 5 pcs. Each bowl has been made with fine Kyo Yaki, Awata ware more finer quality earthen body than some of Satsuma body with tiny cracle glazing. Each bowl has wonderful Flying crane deaisn starting from the sidewall. There are group of pine tree finely painted with gold cloud which my photo not showing well because of angle. The crane design are exceptional work with white enamel work. Each bowl has handpainted work as well as the signature of Bizan on the back. Bizan zo(Bizan made). The condition of bowls are excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There are some light age cloud on the bowl as the photo showing. It is natural causing by age. Bizan, Hasegawa Bizan was famous Awata Yaki(Kyo Yaki) artist from late Edo. These bowls were made probablly by Bizan 3rd. The price showing is as 5 pcs set.
