A pair of strictly museum quality massive gothic candlesticks, probably Nuremberg / Nürnberg, renaissance, c. 1500-1550 AD.

These very large pricket canbelabras, probably for ecclesiastical use, doesn't come much better than this present pair. Stepped domed feet, baluster-shaped stems with flaring sockets. The prickets in iron.

Size: The candlesticks measure impressive 36 cm. in height and the bases are 14 cm. wide...

An fine style terracotta head of bodhisattva, as a prins, Gandhara, c. 2nd.-4th. cent AD

Size: 85 mm. tall - a nice large size ancient head.

Condition: Very fine, repaired to face.

Nice lot of two smaller buddha figures, Thailand and probably used inside amulets of shrines, c. 15th.-18th. cent. AD.

The larger buddha is probably from c. 18th. century but could be earlier, finely details, sukhothai style with nice old patina. The other excarvated and probably dating pre 16th. century at least if not medieval.

Size: c. 6 cm. tall for the larger and 5,1 cm...

A very beautiful and very large terracotta head of a young girl, Greece, Hellenistic period, c. 3rd.-2nd. century BC.

Exceptional details with the efeu wreath and elaborate headdress.

Size: 10,2 cm. tall and 8,5 cm. wide.

Condition: Very fine, partly corroded, but sound hard, ready to display.

A cute group of small bronze Erotic sculptures of mainly couples corpulating, India from the 19th. to mid 20th. cent.

Three figures are old and probably from the 19th. century. Great details and quality casting. Another is probably vitange in a brassy metal and primitive. Finally a green patinaed woman and a small guy with a large phallus (7).

Size: Largest figural group is 9,8 cm. long, the other group are 5-7 cm. long, the small guy is 5 cm...

An interesting antique bronze figure of Krishna dancing on serpent, cobra, Indian or Nepalese, perhaps c. 19th. century.

Size: c. 103 mm. tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine, patina and wear from worship.

An interesting early bronze figure of of Kali (probably), Southern Indian, perhaps Tamil Nadu, c. 16th.-18th. century or even earlier.

Size: c. 98 mm. tall.

Condition: Very fine, old patina and much smooth wear from worship.

A high quality and large seated figure of a female Bodhisattva, Java, 9th-10th. cent.

The seated figure carved from volcanic rock, probably a type of very hard greyish-black andesit. The left arm holds a the low part of a tall flower which curls around the left wrist and the right arm rests in the lap in dhyana mudra. The legs are crossed in padmasana. The figure wears an elaborately decorated crown and multiple bodhisattva ornaments and jewelry...

A large Greek amphora handle, Rhodes, c. 3rd.-2nd. century BC.

The handle inscribed with a two line makers name / mark in Greek, fully readable.

Size: 10 cm. long and substantial.

A finely polished and fully symethric Egyptian stone jar made of a type of beautiful chlorite stone, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

The jar was used to hold cosmethics in the 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC. Nice marks of drill inside, recessed footring and a tiny rim also carved!

Size: 35 mm. wide.

Condition: Good Very fine, fine quality jar.

An attractive large unpolished, thinbladed Danish neolithic axe dating to late 4th-early 3rd mill BC.

Very good knapping details on the sides and several old collection tags - found in Korsør By 1939!

Condition: Nice VF! Choice axe with edges and a lovely light brown marsh patina, small chip only visible at one side, othervise near EF.

An attractive large fishtail type of dagger, made in the late neolithic period, Daggertime-bronzeage, c...

A high quality specimen of broadbladed silex axes, imitating the celts of the early European bronzeage, made in South East Denmark, during Late Neolithic to early bronzeage periods, ca. 1800-1600 BC.

The axe is partly polished and with visible seams, in a wonderful completely calsified silex stone, so with a fine white patina and iron-oxide markings. Tagged 92 with old collection tags, and with the finding place and date 1885 in pencil - a very early provenance for these.

A fully polished axe with a slightly 'hanging' edge, scarce type of the 4th. millenium BC.

The axe is greyish patinated silex with fine fossils included. 19th. century paper tag on the undeveloped rear end as well as number in white ink.

Attractive and with a very sharp edge / bit!

An impressive polished greystone axe, from the great buriel mounts of Denmark, in the later 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

The axe carved by micro-crushing and polishing the surface into the large curving broadsides towards the edge and butt. The axe with old tags, found at the island Lolland.

Size: 23,7 cm. long and 9,4 cm. wide. Heavy axe weighing c. 1.8 kilograms!
