A very high quality Egyptian Horus amulet. Made in deep blue Lapis, better than pictures! Dating late 2nd.-early 1st. mill. BC. It's lower part is basically shaped as a scarab with loop to attach it it's wearer but it's top is evolving into a perfectly shaped Falcon. This one comes from a very old Swedish Private coll. and is also ex Viktoria Lindströms stock of the 1950ties. Condition: Superb! |
