Superb Roman bronze drinking bowl w. Omphallos

A superb Roman bronze drinking bowl, possibly for wine, dating to 1st.-3rd. cent. AD.

The bowl with a flat bottom and tappering walls towards the with lines engraved rim. Small omphallos in the center.

The bowl measure 108 x 53 mm.

Condition: Superb! Beautyful red and green patina.

Provenance: Danish Collection, bought in Syria many years ago.
