Rare Japanese BUDDHA in Bodhyagri mudra, wood with gold and black lacquer, make this a striking addition to any collection. Condition is excellent. Height is 4 inches (10.1 cms.) and diameter at base is 2.75 inches (7 cms.) Circa: 1800-1868.

Chinese stonewear Geyaoo TEA BOWL, the dark stonewear body is covered overall with a thick batter-like pale blue-gray glaze marked with both broad and fine crackle with the "golden thread and iron wire." Condition: There are four (4) match head size spots inside the cavetto where there is a loss of glaze and other numerous spots both inside and outside where there are glaze bursts. Seated Japanese Buddha with mandorla of swirling cloud motif on a tiered lotus pedastal. Buddha has a crystal "third eye," gilt wood, hands held in "jo-in mudra," absolutely perfect condition. circa 1890. height = 20" beautiful detail of face/expression, wonderful patina.

Chinese cobalt blue monochrome porcelain BOTTLE VASE, 18th Century with globular body and straight long neck, covered in a deep blue glaze thinning to a lighter tone at the rim. Condition, excellent, only one small (less than 1 inch or 2.4cm hairline at the neck, only visible on the inside) Little scratching of glaze on the outside.Provenance: Purchased at Christie's South Kensington in London on May 16, 2012, Lot # 535. Height is 12.25 inches or 29.4 cm.

Two piece Japanese porcelain, Blue & White Incense Burner or Censer, "Koro," with a boy drummer beating a drum on top with Buddhist symbols surrounding him; sitting on a tri-footed Elephant Base. Condition is good but there is a small kiln crack on the inside of one leg. Total height is 7 inches or 17.8 cms. Circa, 1900-1920.

Chinese porcelain MING Blue & White STEM CUP with scrolling Peony flowers & leaves beautifully painted in underglaze blue. The slightly flared bowl supported on a hollow stem with slightly splayed foot, the interior decorated with a floral medallion and two single underglaze blue lines, covered overall with an appealing "mutton-fat" white glaze, extending down the interior of the stem, leaving the conical-shaped foot rim unglazed and burnt to a mottled fawn color. Chinese pottery "brown-ware" VASE well potted with thick brown glaze. This is 13-14th century, either Southern Song or Yuan dynasty. Condition is good, the glaze is a bit faded but only slightly considering its age. There is some glaze that ran down onto the foot rim when it was fired, (see photos) Height is 5 3/4 inches (14.3 cm) and width is 2 5/8 inches (6.3 cm)
