Exceptionally beautiful set of 10 Japanese "Ozen" wooden lacquer trays in a wooden storage box. Each tray has a beautiful wooden grain with a slight green tint, and the legs of the trays have a sophisticated flair. Very shibui! Chinese 18th Century portion of a KESI CHIFU (Formal Court Robe) with auspicious symbols (bats) embroidered in silk around a central motif of a single peony blossom. Very attractively mounted and framed in black with non-glare glass and a brass hanging hook. Condition is good with only some slight discoloration.

Chinese porcelain monochrome RUBY-glazed STEM CUP with a 6 character Qianlong horizontal underglaze mark on the inside of the base of the vessel. This unusual RUBY "pao-shih hung" orange peel "chu-p'i wen"glazed porcelain vessel has a white rim and the interior of the stem is glazed in an "off-white-slightly bluish" color. Indian copper religious sculpture of GANESHA on a brass base which is hollowed out. This small very charming indeed enchanting figure of Ganesha is well rendered even though some detail on the face has been lost over the centuries due to devotees propensity to touch their Gods! This is 16th Century and the height is only 2 1/8 of an inch (6.7 cm) x 1 1/2 inches (3.6 cm)
Chinese stonewear Longquan celadon JAR in baluster shape with elongated shoulders and incised band of linked coins on the upper portion and an incised floral design of Peonies below. Very beautiful pale green-bluish celadon glaze. The unglazed portion of the vase and base and foot rim burnt brick red. Purchased at Sotheby's 22 March 2011 in New York City, provenance, the J.T. Korean GOKI TEA BOWL the steep-sided teabowl set on a high foot with an oatmeal glaze and salmon-pink blushes on the interior and exterior covered with a clear crackled glaze.
